Mountain, photograph and me

There is a manga (comic) titled like that, I remember. From the young weekend hiker, like the heroine of the manga, to the elderly Japan's mountain climbing population has been growing.
I myself had short hike in Kazbegi of Georgia and felt tips why people were fascinated by mountains. I didn't have satisfaction to even conquer the peak. (Because it's a just hill) But was impressed the changing picture as I ascent and changing sun light at every minute.
Nevertheless I had taken a picture a minute ago, I felt like I could capture totally different picture in next moment and pressed the shutter button. Suddenly I noticed I got hundreds of similar shots.

The excitement might come from the landscape which was far from my everyday life in Japan. So how about for mountain climbers or people who lives near mountains. Are they also impressed by the scene? Does every residence of Kazbegi have experience climbing mountains nearby?
The rocky mountains behind the village was very steep and high. How does a climber make the route? It's really fun to think about it. Moreover does anybody climb the rocky cliff?
I saw steam or smoke just off the peak. I'm sure it's not cloud. Is it a hot spring or volcanic crack? How's like the peak of the mountain? What kind of new world is waiting behind the mountain?

If I get into a mountain climbing, the main motive would be the curiosity. Yeah, every climber would have a reason to climb a mountain. If they headed for the peak without uttering words and try to accomplish their goal stoically, looks really cool to me.
